Note: Before you install the WIBU-KEY application switch off all power management tools on the server computer.
Launch the Network Server program from the Start menu\Programs\Wibu-key menu
When trying to start the WIBU KeyServer 3.3 on Windows 2000 or Windows XP as a non-administrator user, the following warning is displayed:
"Runtime Error!
Reason: The WIBU KeyServer 3.3 has to be started with administrator rights on these platforms.
This malfunction may occur if there is no DNS server in the network.

Note: Always install the WIBU server on a computer that has a fixed IP address!
Workaround:
Due to an ArchiCAD 8 bug, the WIBU server's Time Out value doesn't prevail. ArchiCAD keeps alive the slot reservation even if it is minimized or running inactively in the background.

In this case the ArchiCAD clients may fail to find the network dongle.
Check the server computer's IP address with the IPCONFIG command from the command prompt.
On the Windows client computer, set the server's IP address on the Start menu>Settings>Control Panel>WIBU-KEY program >Network tab page.
On the Macintosh client computer, set the server's IP address in the
System volume>Library>Frameworks>WkMacLibX.framework>WIBUKEY.INI file manually to this value:
Server1= *
* means the Server's IP address
Set the server's IP address on the Start menu>Settings>Control Panel>WIBU-KEY program >Network tab page to 127.0.0.1.
